Shaun Lyons earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where he served on the Journal of National Security Law & Policy and competed in moot court. Over the ten years since, he has practiced as a full-service lawyer — in private practice and as a Senior Assistant Attorney General for the State of Ohio — trying multiple cases before the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio, including one of the largest in Ohio history, and negotiating settlements in key FINRA and Ohio enforcement actions.
